Guests remark that the hotel features all the upscale comfort and convenience amenities required for an enjoyable and memorable stay. The accommodations and public areas are spotless and well maintained. The hotel features a gourmet restaurant serving the finest of international cuisine and there is a relaxing lounge for hot beverages, light meals and snacks.

Located adjacent to the King Fahd Gate and across the street from the ladies gate, the hotel offers magnificent views of the Holy Mosque of the Prophet. Guests commenting that they came to the city to pray, find the location ideal and the accommodation luxurious.

Guests remark that they are disappointed in the attitude and service of the staff, noting that the desk staff seems distracted and fails to make guests feel welcome. During busy times, the staff on the desk seems overworked with guests noting that additional staff would help correct the problem.

Some guests have commented that upon check-in their requests were not honored with guest that requested a non-smoking room complaining that the room they were assigned had a distinctive smell of cigarette smoke.

Several guests comment that the service in the restaurant and lounge is disjointed and unorganised with long delays for food service and wait staff failing to respond to repeated guest requests for condiments and coffee.
