Review summary
Summarized by AI from 90+ reviews
The hotel offers a truly authentic and serene Zanzibar experience, particularly celebrated for its stunning sunsets over the ocean, a unique feature on the island's west coast. Guests are drawn to its peaceful, nature-immersed eco-lodge atmosphere, making it an ideal retreat for couples seeking a romantic getaway, honeymooners, and individuals looking to unwind and escape the bustle. The property's rustic charm and beautiful natural surroundings are consistently highlighted, with many appreciating the opportunity to connect with local wildlife like monkeys. While most guests embrace the traditional feel, some note that the hotel could benefit from maintenance to enhance overall comfort. To make the most of your stay, be prepared for a more traditional experience and consider bringing reef shoes for exploring the tidal areas.
