Welcome to Esther’s, a contemporary country lodge in a country setting in the heart of the Magaliesberg mountain range. On arrival at Esther’s, one gets an immediate impression of modern minimalism; the high ceilings add a sense of wide open spaces, accentuated by exposed brick and wood. This is a guest lodge with a difference, decorated with pieces of glass art created by Frank van den Ham, using bold designs and bright colours. The guest accommodation at Esther's includes 8 comfortably furnished double rooms, each with a private shower en suite, tea-and coffee-making facilities, and a seating area with a TV. Enjoying a hearty meal is all part of a perfect retreat for a weekend getaway in a country setting. Our restaurant offers elegant surroundings with the comforting warmth of a cosy fireplace. Our seasonal menu features Swiss and Austrian flavours and specialities, using handpicked fresh greens from our own vegetable garden. On warm days the outside terrace with pizza oven is perfect for informal al fresco lunches and dinners, offering a menu of European inspired dishes and pizza specialties. The magnificent gardens at this tranquil country lodge offer many inviting seating areas nestled under shady trees for simply enjoying the garden and mountain views, reading a good book, enjoying quality time alone or in the company of friends and family. A play area with a jungle gym keeps the children entertained and is ideal for families to spend quality time together.
