Conveniently located close to Vittorio Emanuele Metro Station, Aloha Roma is a small guest house offering multilingual reception staff and simple accommodation with free Wi-Fi.

The eight rooms feature tiled floors to help with cooling in summer, ceiling fans, in-room safes, flat-screen TVs and private bathrooms with showers.

Reception staff are on duty during limited hours and can assist with basic concierge services as well as babysitting for those with young children.

A simple complimentary Italian breakfast is served every morning at a nearby café. Guests in search of a delicious treat should look no further than Gelateria Fassi. One of the oldest and most popular ice cream parlours in the city, it is just 130 metres from Aloha Roma.

The attractions around the Trevi Fountain area are within two miles of the guest house and easily accessible via nearby metro services. The Colosseum, perhaps the city's most iconic building, is just over a mile away.

Positive Reviews

Convenient location for public transport

Guests liked that the B&B was so close to the Vittoria Emanuele Metro Station. The walk there was said to be no longer than a minute or two, and guests found that they could easily access the popular tourist areas using the metro system.

Helpful host

The host here, Fabrizio, generally came in for a lot of praise from the guests. They reported that he offered a warm welcome as well as assistance when he was present at the guest house.

Low room rates

Though the jury was out on the question of value for money, guests were in agreement when saying they felt they paid a very low room rate to be in accommodation in central Rome.

Negative Reviews

No permanent staff onsite

Like many other small guest houses in the city, this one has no permanent staff on duty. This seems to have caused serious problems, with guests saying there was nobody to check them in when they arrived and that the hosts were very hard to track down during their stay if they had a problem to report or question to ask and they were not on the premises at the time.

No lift in the building

Guests pointed out that the guest house is on the third floor and that there is no lift in the building. Those arriving with heavy luggage were particularly unhappy but all guests had three flights of stairs to climb each time they returned to the guest house.

Neighbourhood is a bit dodgy

While guests liked the convenience of the location, they didn't much care for the neighbourhood itself. It was often described as dodgy and occasionally as scary. Signs of general urban decay tended to make guests feel a bit unsafe in the streets.
