Dim all the lights, sink between the 600 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets with soft down duvets and bed warmers, fluffy gowns and slippers. All rooms lead out to the verandah or patio and have both bath and showers as well as hair dryers, tea and coffee making facilities, bar fridges and electronic laptop safes.
Guests are encouraged to use the kitchen and dining facilities to make meals and entertain friends both inside and out. There is also a laundry, some off street parking and perimeter security fencing, plus flat screen satellite televisions and great free internet throughout the house.

Situated in the heart of leafy Newlands, Au Pear is within walking distance of the University of Cape Town, Newlands forest, Newlands rugby and cricket grounds, local pubs, restaurants and coffee shops. Only 15 minutes to the City Centre or Cape Town international airport and 20 minutes to the beach. Excludes breakfast. No credit card facilities.
