Review summary

Summarized by AI from 400+ reviews

A quiet, simple retreat near Lake Michigan’s shores.

This property offers a peaceful base for sightseers and families seeking a straightforward stay near the water. The ideal location provides easy access to the public beach, while the indoor swimming pool serves as a popular recreational highlight for guests. The hotel enhances the morning experience through off-site dining partnerships, and guests can request a BOGO breakfast voucher for a nearby restaurant to enjoy a local meal. While the atmosphere is generally restful, the property’s dated charm and unconventional layout create a functional, no-frills environment for travelers.

Some guests mentioned: inconsistent room quality, maintenance issues, unstaffed offices.
