Shikwari Nature Reserve The reserve has Giraffe, Offers two camps on the reserve close to Kruger Park & the Panorama Route Zebra, Wildebeest, Kudu, Impala, Nyala, Waterbuck, Bush Buck, Duiker. Steenbok & Ostrich plus many birds. Enjoy friendly relaxed service in amazing surroundings. Dinner & full Breakfast is offered; usually served al fresco on the veranda or deck boma. Enjoy friendly service in amazing surroundings. Wonderful areas for celebrations and weddings. Shikwari Suites TGCSA 4 Star Rated Camp offers a fully licensed bar & TV lounge. Free Wi-Fi is available to both camps in the lounge/veranda area. Relax on the shady lodge veranda taking in the view & cool off in the pool with an amazing view. All meals are taken at this camp. The breakfast is a Buffet Continental & a Plated English; Dinner is a 2 course meal – Main & Dessert with Homemade bread and dips as an appetizer. Six luxury thatched suites are tucked into the natural bush; with private bathrooms & outdoor showers, a small patio & decorated with stylish furniture, a mini fridge stocked on request & choice of beds with percale linen. Enjoy the Hospitality Tray with fresh ground coffee, French coffee press, a choice of quality teas & homemade cookies. There is also a Turndown service with homemade Nougat/chocs and a paid laundry service. Guests at this camp are only booked on a Half board option. Please note there is no capacity for more than 2 Adults in the suites – 2 children 5-12yrs may share with parents or an older sibling. Pangolin Rondavels These are in a separate area from the Shikwari Suites & Not Graded. A comfortable budget option camp approximately 500mtr from the main lodge. There are 4 traditional thatched rondavels and a pool. There is no TV or WiFi in this camp. The camp consists of 2 rondavels with a “Bush Bathroom” - outdoor shower, covered toilet & basin plus 2 rondavels which share a separate bathroom & outdoor shower. Beds offer percale linen & towels are supplied. All rooms have a wardrobe, seating, & hospitality trays with kettle, milk, coffee & teas and ceiling fans. One has aircon. A boma is available for braais where guests need to bring their own braai tools, tableware & charcoal. Free Wi-Fi access is available at the main lodge; as is satellite Premium DSTV & Wi-Fi. Breakfast is included in the Pangolin rate and there is a Half board option. All guests take meals booked at the main Shikwari Suites camp. Satellite DSTV & Wi-Fi is available at the Shikwari Suites lounge. Please note there is no capacity for more than 2 Adults in the rondavels - 2 children 5-12yrs may share with parents or an older sibling. Activities Guided Game walks available at the lodge and trips to Kruger Park with our FGASA guide in an open game vehicle. The reserve is also close many other exciting day trips such as the Kruger National Park, The Panorama Route and the Graskop Gorge Lift, Blyde Boat cruise, Jessica Hippo, Hoedspruit Endangered Species, Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation & Echo Caves plus some exciting adventure options such as quad biking, paintball and abseiling and canopy tours. Please note: We are unable to accept Day Visitors. Child Rules: Children welcome - 5yrs -12yrs old are accommodated parents at 50% of the Adult sharing rate. Teens 13 -18yrs accommodated at 100% of the adult sharing rate in own room or with one other adult and/or 2 younger siblings. This applies to both camps.
