Review summary
Summarized by AI from 1,000+ reviews
A tranquil historic retreat for nature-loving couples.
This property offers a peaceful escape for couples seeking a stately, historic atmosphere within the Brecon Beacons. The stunning, tranquil setting pairs with spacious bedrooms that evoke the charm of a grand home. Guests often praise the evening dining experience for its high-quality cuisine, and those traveling with pets may want to request the dog-friendly rooms for added convenience. While the property provides a unique, scenic base for exploration, the inconsistent service levels and maintenance of the grounds remain points of note for future visitors.
Some guests mentioned: overgrown gardens, inconsistent breakfast quality, staffing shortages.
