Review summary
Summarized by AI from 100+ reviews
A historic, charming retreat for travelers exploring St Andrews.
This property serves as an ideal base for sightseers seeking a classic, manor-style atmosphere. The hotel boasts exceptional walkability to downtown shops, while the experience is rounded out by a lovely patio and garden for quiet relaxation. Guests frequently praise the outstanding breakfast served each morning, and those traveling with pets can secure a more comfortable stay by requesting an upgrade to a larger suite. While the property offers a nostalgic, elegant environment, the inconsistent quality of room furnishings and service interactions remains a notable point of contention.
Some guests mentioned: inconsistent Wi-Fi, aging mattresses, communication challenges.
