Review summary
Summarized by AI from 900+ reviews
A historic, character-filled retreat for outdoor enthusiasts.
This property offers a tranquil escape for sightseers and hikers seeking a traditional Highland experience. The Pitlochry town centre location pairs with a quaint historic building to provide a unique sense of place. Guests frequently praise the on-site brewery for its craft ales, and those looking for a quieter stay may prefer requesting a room away from the communal lounge areas. While the atmosphere is charming, the dated decor and inconsistent service levels remain notable aspects of the guest experience that contrast with the property's undeniable historic appeal.
Some guests mentioned: limited parking, dated room interiors, inconsistent service.
