Review summary
Summarized by AI from 20+ reviews
This hotel, with its distinctive gothic charm, is ideal for sightseers and solo travelers seeking a unique and centrally located base. Its excellent central location, just one street off the main shopping area, provides easy walking access to numerous attractions. The large communal kitchen area in the basement, equipped with a microwave, toaster, fridge, and kettle, is a standout amenity for guests. While staff presence can vary, the breakfast is consistently praised for its quality and the social interactions it encourages. For a quieter experience, guests should consider requesting a downstairs room due to the presence of steep stairs throughout the historic building.
