The Calvert Hotel

This hotel offers a truly unique and memorable stay, having been beautifully repurposed from a historic school building, providing a distinctive charming ambiance that sets it apart from typical chain hotels. Guests consistently highlight the comfortable accommodations, the exceptional breakfast, and the attentive and friendly staff as key elements of their positive experience. Its central downtown location makes it an ideal choice for sightseers and couples seeking a unique getaway, while families appreciate the spacious rooms and welcoming atmosphere. Business travelers also find it convenient due to its proximity to local amenities. To ensure the best experience, guests with mobility concerns should request a ground-floor room, as the historic building does not have an elevator. Additionally, while generally quiet, some guests recommend inquiring about room location to minimize potential noise from hallways.
