Positive Reviews

Rooms are good

The room is attractive with good quality decor and brilliant sea views.

Impressive services

The additional services are good and those that come at a cost are reasonably priced. These examples include room service, ironing and shuttle.

Lovely staff

Members of staff are very friendly, helpful and adaptable. This even extends to controlling the family kids at breakfast time ... when they are at their worst! The helpful reception desk people offer a useful discount card. It’s not widely publicised so be prepared to ask for it.

Negative Reviews

The not so magic pool

The pool water doesn’t look too clean so it’s tempting to saunter across the road to the beach.

Indigestible prices and policies

Food prices are very high. You’ll notice this in particular if you only want a light breakfast … at a heavy price. Generally, the food is good here, but not so the range of available choices. If you fancy lunch by the pool - * a wonderful idea! – don’t get too excited about the prospect; it can be impossible to arrange. You may have pre- booked a room specifically to meet your requirements, only to find that the hotel has shuffled it around to accommodate other bookings – and you are now somewhere completely different.

Going down

They say that, in its day, this area was really top-notch. Nowadays, sadly, it is overrun with tiresome street hawkers and people with dubious professional leanings. Other areas of concern include the limited number of underground parking spaces and the fact that when the car is parked, the hotel – not you – hangs on to the car keys. This is unnerving. Oh! … and the Wi-Fi can be truly awful.
